Use facial recognition on your Pixel 10a to secure your device and personal info. If you decide to switch methods, you can delete your face data anytime.<\/div><\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Open the

  2. Navigate:
    Security \x26 privacy<\/div><\/span>
    Device unlock<\/div><\/span>
    Face<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  4. Do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
    • For first\u002Dtime setup:
      1. Review the info about Face Unlock then tap
        I agree<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
      2. Review the info on how to set up Face Unlock then tap
        Start<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
      3. From the \x27Help make Face unlock better\x27 screen, read the info, tap the
        Keep Better Data ... switch<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off then tap
        Next<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
      4. While holding the phone 8\u002D20 inches away, position your face within the circle displayed onscreen.<\/div><\/li>
      5. From the \x27Looks good!\x27 screen, tap
        Done<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
      6. To remove face data:
        1. Tap the
          Trash icon<\/div><\/span> to the right of the face you wish to remove.<\/div><\/li>
        2. To confirm, review the disclaimer then tap
