Apple iPad <\/div><\/span> Add \/ Remove a Wi\u002DFi Connection<\/div><\/h1>

Connect your Apple®<\/span> iPad®<\/span> to a visible or hidden Wi\u002DFi network or remove a saved one. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.<\/div><\/div>

Open the
Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Wi\u002DFi<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Ensure the Wi\u002DFi switch is on, then do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
To connect to an available Wi\u002DFi network:
Tap the preferred network.<\/div><\/li>
Enter the appropriate password then tap the
Checkmark icon<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
To manually connect to a Wi\u002DFi network:
Tap
Other<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
Enter the applicable network name into the Name field.<\/div><\/li>
Tap
Security<\/div><\/span> then select the applicable security option (e.g., None, WEP, WPA, etc.).<\/div><\/li>
Enter the password then tap the
Checkmark icon<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
To remove a Wi\u002DFi connection:
Tap the
Info icon<\/div><\/span> next to the Wi\u002DFi network.<\/div><\/li>
Tap
Forget This Network<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
