Apple iPad <\/div><\/span> Manage Sound Settings<\/div><\/h1>
Controlling notification sounds for calls and messages on your Apple®<\/span> iPad®<\/span> helps you maintain focus, avoid unnecessary noise, or make sure you\x27re always aware of new communications.<\/div><\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Open the
    Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. Tap
    Sounds<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. From the Ringtone and Alerts section, drag the
    Volume slider<\/div><\/span> to set the sound level for your ringer and alerts.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  4. Tap the
    Change with Buttons switch<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off.<\/div><\/span>
    While turned on, the volume for the ringer and alerts can be adjusted using the Volume buttons.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
  5. Tap any of the available options (e.g., Ringtone, Text Tone, etc.) then tap a ringtone or alert tone.<\/div><\/span>
    To return to the previous screen, tap the
    Back arrow icon<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
  6. Tap any of the following switches to turn on or off:<\/div><\/span>
    • Keyboard Clicks<\/div><\/li>
