The steps for using the side switch to control portrait orientation lock only apply to the following models:

Turn Portrait Orientation Lock On \/ Off<\/div><\/h2>

Access the Control Center by touching the top\u002Dright corner of any screen then dragging downward.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap the
Portrait Orientation icon<\/div><\/span> to lock or unlock screen portrait orientation.<\/div><\/span>
When the icon is highlighted in white, the screen is locked into portrait orientation mode.<\/div><\/div>
