Manually update your inbox, calendar, contacts, etc. to stay up to date on your info. You can also adjust sync settings on your Apple®<\/span> iPad®<\/span> to keep up with your email in real time.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>
Fetch New Data is a feature that allows the user to select how often the device checks for new email. Push is a feature that\x27s only available with certain email accounts that automatically push email to the device. <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Open the
    Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. Navigate:
    Apps<\/div><\/span>
    Mail<\/div><\/span>
    Mail Accounts<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. Tap
    Fetch New Data<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  4. Tap the
    Push switch<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  5. Select an account then select a schedule option (Push, Fetch or Manual).<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  6. Tap
    Accounts<\/div><\/span> to return to the previous page.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
