Check the sticker on your D-Link 2750B Wireless Gateway Router for the default Wi-Fi name (SSID/ESSID) and password (WPA2/WPA) key.

Your current Wi-Fi name and password are also stored in your D-Link 2750B Wireless Gateway Router. You can find them by accessing the security settings where they are stored.

To display your SSID and WPA2/WPA/WEP:

• EnterÌýhttp://192.168.1.1Ìýin the address field of your browser
• Enter your router username and password
• From the top navigation, click theÌýWireless Setup. The Basic Settings page opens
• From the left navigation, clickÌýWireless Security
• Under Select Security Type, selectÌýWPA-WPA2-PersonalÌýfrom the drop-down
• Under Security Encryption Type, selectÌýBothÌýfrom the drop-down
• Enter your security key/passphrase:
  • To use the default key: Select theÌýUse Default Security Key/PassphraseÌýfield radio button
  • To use a custom key: Select theÌýUse Custom Key / PassphraseÌýradio button and enter your custom security key
• ClickÌýApplyÌýto save your changes

If you didn’t change your router’s default password when you set it up, it may have been changed to your router serial number to provide greater security. You can find your router’s default password or serial number on a label affixed to the bottom or back of the router.

If you changed your router username or password and can’t remember them, you must reset your default settings and reconfigure your network.

The D-Link 2750B Wireless Gateway Router security screens and prompts may vary slightly from these directions depending on when you purchased your gateway and the firmware loaded onto it.

To change your D-Link 2750B Wireless Gateway Router password:

• Open your web browser and enterÌýhttp://192.168.1.1Ìýin the address field
• Click theÌýSettingsÌýtab and enter your router username and password and clickÌýContinue. (Note: your default username isÌýadminÌýif you didn't change it when you configured your network)
• Click theÌýSystemÌýtab
• From the sub-menu, clickÌýUsers
• Under the full name heading, clickÌýAdministratorÌýand the administrator information will be displayed
• Enter a new password in theÌýNew PasswordÌýfield and retype to confirm that you entered it correctly
• ClickÌýApplyÌýto save your changes and to apply the new settings to your modem

Resetting your router to the factory defaults not only changes your router username and password to the factory default values, but it also deletes all your home network settings. This includes the SSID and network encryption key (WEP, WPA or WPA2). After you reset your router to the factory defaults, your home network won't be accessible until you reconfigure your router and all your network devices to use the same SSID and encryption key.

Follow the below to restore your router to its factory settings:

• Open your web browser and enterÌýhttp://192.168.1.1Ìýin the address field
• Click theÌýSystemsÌýtab
• Enter yourÌýusername and passwordÌýand clickÌýContinueÌý(Note: your default username isÌýadminÌýif you didn't change it when you configured your network)
• From the sub-menu, clickÌýMaintenance
• From the sub-menu, clickÌýRestore Factory SettingsÌýand your router will reboot. If you are connected wirelessly, your connection will be lost. If you are connected with an Ethernet cable, you may be prompted to log back in using the factory settings

If you’re unable to access the router’s internal interface, perform the following steps: using a paperclip, press in and hold the reset button for 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, release the reset button and turn the power off to the router. Leave the power off for 20 seconds before turning it back on.

The router status light indicators are used to help troubleshoot connectivity issues.

If the light is solid green, the router power is on.

If there is no light, confirm that the power switch on the back panel of the router is in the "on" position and the power cord is securely connected to the electrical outlet.

If the light is solid green, the connection between the D-Link 2750B Wireless Gateway Router and ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ DSL is established.

If it is flashing green, a connection to ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ is in the process of being established.

If it is flashing red, a connection to ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ cannot be established. ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ recommend:

• Confirm all the cables are securely connected to the back of the gateway
• Ensure the phone line coming into the back of the gateway does not have a filter installed on it and connects directly to a wall jack
• Confirm all phone filters are installed except for the line to the gateway router

If the light is solid green, the gateway is connected to the internet.

If the light is solid red, the gateway is not connected to the internet.

If there is no light, the connection to ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ DSL is not present or the modem is in bridge mode. To learn more, check out theÌýuser guide.

If the light is green, the Ethernet connection between your device and the router is established.

If there is no light, the connection is not established.

If the light is solid green, this indicates the wireless function is operating correctly.

If the light is flashing green, this indicates wireless traffic is passing between the router and your Wi-Fi device.
